Our Story

Our story began in paramedic school in 2020, when life surprised us both.
Samantha, a California native with a passion for caring for others, met Vitalii, who

grew up in Uman, Ukraine before moving to Brooklyn at eighteen.

At the time, Vitalii was her paramedic instructor — but what started as lessons and lectures
quickly turned into conversations, laughter, and a connection neither of us could ignore.

Even though we came from different worlds, our paths aligned naturally.
Samantha’s compassion and love of learning, paired with Vitalii’s steady
discipline and quiet determination, created a balance that felt right from the very beginning.

What started as a spark grew into a partnership built on trust, respect, and a shared vision for the future.
Together, we’ve built a life filled with joy, resilience, and adventure — from moving across states

and creating a home in Colorado, to raising our two Bernedoodles, Leo and Ronnie, who bring warmth,

laughter, and a touch of mischief to our days. Whether we’re exploring the outdoors or enjoying quiet
evenings at home, our love has grown into the foundation of our life together.

On October 5, 2024, during a trip to Moab, Utah, Vitalii asked Samantha to marry him.

With a joyful “yes,” we turned the page to the next part of our story.

On August 29, 2026, our greatest chapter begins in Jackson Hole, surrounded by the Tetons and

the loved ones who mean the world to us. Ours is a story of blending two worlds —

East and West, logic and heart, tradition and new beginnings.

Above all, it’s about choosing each other every day and
building a life defined by love, purpose, and family.
We can’t wait to celebrate this moment with all of you.

"Logan, Erin, Rachel, and I have been inseparable since high school. She just had her first baby a few days ago (July 2025) and is the first of us to become a mom! She currently lives with her husband in Portland, OR."

"My favorite and only other girl cousin! She is one of my favorite people and we have always looked similar. She's super spunky and outgoing and currently lives in Zurich, Switzerland with her boyfriend."
